  1. @MrDustock If you did, you'd know that this isn't a "liberal misinterpretation". And you'd also know that the settlers knew what they were doing when they spread smallpox. And yes, this land was stolen. It wasn't fairly bought. It wasn't given in parcel. Its inhabitants, almost 70M of them, were systematically murdered.

  3. @MrDustock Read Lord Jefferey's own accounts if you need some context. And no, all land isn't stolen. The Natives were already here. The Natives ranged from a 1-with-the-land philosophy to fiercely territorial. The fact that they weren't White is incidental in this case because we're only talking about the act of theft not its implied motive. What land is fairly bought? Ever heard of market value? C'mon, use your noggin.
