  1. No, gender means sexual identity. If you were born with a willy, you're identified as a man. Why don't you get that? I don't care how efeminate a man may be, he's still a man. I don't care how mutch a woman is, she's still a woman. Either way, this is about someone suing for a unisex bathroom. That is NOT equality. In fact, that's the very definition of INequity.

  2. If gender identity is innate as per your premise then having SRS is mutilating the body. Unless we're talking about a hermaphrodite, you can't qualify that kind of surgery. It's plastic; it's elective. I'm in no position to talk about "right & wrong" but I can definitely say that it's not "bringing someone in sync". Your plumbing doesn't determine your identity but it definitely determines your gender.

But c'mon man, it's not a medical issue. Sex changes, as elective surgeries, are a waste of surgical prowess. Either way, nobody gets a special bathroom then says "accept & treat me as you do everyone else". It's not like a disability that "handicaps" someone.

  4. Actually ear piercing prevents the occurance of ENT infections. Circumcision reduces the transmission BBPs. I can show you studies for both. Yes it's a choice. But your supposition that someone "is a woman trapped in a man's body" is laughable. So's the suppostion that gender is a social definition. Gender ROLES are socially defined. Gender is determined by your plumbing.

It's just that people like this want "acceptance" but they don't want to deal with the same drudgery that everyone else has to endure. That's crap. We live in a world where children are born with bicuspid valves that don't properly seal in their aortas, children are being born with cleft palates & men with prepuces are more susceptible for exposure to BBPs from sexual contact. You're telling me that a surgery that'd turn someone's penis inside out ISN'T wasteful? Puhleez. Surgeons are supposed to use their talents & training to save, preserve or qualitatively improve lives not cut off nards.

  9. But he's NOT a woman. He was born with a johnson. YES, y-chromosomes distinguishes someone as a male. This is not about what I "like or not". That's a person's choice; I don't approve of the choice but it's not mine to make or approve. What I'm saying is that unless a person had some freak mutation in the early stages of natal development that gave him or her xyx chromosomes, they're 1 ot the other. Either way, you don't get a special bathroom. Pick a john & use it.
