what i'm saying is that carbon dating is useful beyond 7k years (given what i understand about plasma half life). in fact, it's good for as many sig figs as avagadro's number can account

my initial assertion is that science is merely another mode of finding truth. there are logical methods, reasoning methods, intuitive methods, etc. science's advantage is that it sets out to find answers & refine questions rather than assume. once upon a time, aristotle knew that the world was comprised of fire, earth & water; the world agreed. mendeleev showed us another way, then carver then fermi etc. science builds on discovery. arrogantly, creation thinks it needs no foundation

like i said, if you understand molarity (because most matter is solute & most stuff on the planet earth is organic), you'd understand that measuring half life or carbon decay is pretty accurate. simply put: how much matter is left given how much we can estimate was there in the first place if we know anything about this material's elemental makeup? what i'm is that radiometry is cool but half examination is just about as accurate

...i'll do you 1 better, the next time you get sick, go for the fridge & grab the camphor & leave the antibiotics for atheists. OR, the next time you get a bone fracture, tell the physician to grab 2 slats of wood & some twine instead of plaster, fiberglass or titanium pins; those all came from a evolutionary concept. in fact, don't go to a qualified physician at all. call your televangelist on an analog telephone line. moron

that's not true at all. carbon decay dating has been USED in recent history. any half life dating or measurement of radioactive decay is a useful measuring tool. it's accurate up to the exponential power of avagadro's number (it has to have been there in order to be measured)

creation IS dumb. science isn't a speculation. science is a means of pursuing an astute answer rather than succumbing to jingoistic belief in a story that has been reprinted manually by retarded, exiled children. carbon dating is a simple way of answering any lingering questions you may have. don't believe in evolution? move into a city & watch the roaches, rats & bats become immune to poisons OR get a microscope & and watch the GENESIS of bacteria (TB if you're a sporting type). i dare you

abominations like tax breaks for the middle class? education incentives? DEprivatizing medicare? laws like those constitutional laws violated in the constitution that sent 7000 americans to die in a wasteful, 2 front war? i see what you fear

scientists haven't made up ANY stories. scientists have used the tools they have to search for an answer. science is not an answer to how or why. science asks how to. if you believe scientists are just plain fabricating shit then stop using your evil pc & this evil medium called youtube that was created by scientists. idiot

touche. it's not the best tool. i guess what i'm trying to say is that even the most primitive tools can be used to disprove (or at least bring into serious question) the creationism. i never took geology or anthropology but in chemistry, we did quite a bit on the subject. on the flip side, there's also some very logical fallacies with the theory too & variables that haven't been addressed (barometric deviance, global temp, etc). but even rudimentary science debunks creation

i didn't mean to call you a bad name but you're not using any critical thinking tools. c'mon. "god created dinosaur bones"? don't be foolish. if you choose to be, then you can't (with good conscience) enjoy ANY trappings of modern technology. ex: the pc, the rc engine, running water, modern medications...is the picture becoming clear yet?

you have the right idea

black, you're wasting good data on fools. let these idiots (especially the racist white ones) stay in the dark.

did i miss something?

yep. the presupposition is what serves as anteriori thesis or simply, a premise. i don't always go the logic way (even as a science person) because my life has taught me that there's so much more to problem solving & i've seen so many unreasonable things with my own eyes. einstein would say that imagination is more useful than logic.
