  2. The Pilgrims of Plymouth weren't religious fanatics. They were overtaxed by the Church of England & they thought moving to a colony was an opportunity to outrun poverty & preferential tax treatment. In any case, you're using a "no true Scotsman" fallacy by saying they're less Christian. They are what they identify as & what evidence there is to support their claims. Also, there IS no heaven or god.

  3. Equating Pilgrims as Puritans was a nice way to set up a fallacy. Nice try but data don't lie. Separatists & Anglicans aren't Puritans. As for them being a fascist society, I can't agree more. But that doesn't change the fact that they were trying to outrun the overtaxation done to them by the CofE. As for them being "non-Christians", that's bullshit. They're Christians just as much as the Branch Davidians, Mormons, Jonestownians & Westboro Baptists. You don't get to cherry pick.
