@wheresurhat Are YOU serious?
1
@eeedel Why would you even discourse with that fool. We know where that person's head is at. It's clear the person is a racist.
1
@eeeen321 But you can't throw out the baby with the bath water. Why on Earth are you letting a racist off the hook?
1
@PersonalJesus348 But I'll re-issue my question. Have you parented a child, been an aunt or uncle (I don't automatically assume that "Arik" is male) in close involvement with a child's rearing, taught, coached or mentored? Have you ever been involved with a TEENAGER that has the ability to reason & won't? Or is all your background based on your own conjecture & child psychology books? I'll wait for your answer.

@frictionRx10 The last time I looked, Black students did better on college entrance exams. Also, what the media isn't telling oyu is that there are more Black kids in college, tech training & the service than prison. But you'd rather be racist than look at actual data. What a moron you are.
1
@gigglehertz In this context it's a noun. Don't confuse poetic license with bad syntax.
1
@Brezable Your racism just ruined any credibility you may have had. We're done here. Fail.

There's no such thing as a nervous breakdown. An anxiety attack is the right terminology. Nevertheless, this isn't shocking at all. Kids have been enticing teachers since the old days.
1
@hunkatiel Agreed. Send the kids out of the room. But how many times & how effective is that? I know you can't win 'em all. But I also know that algebra is important. I've had some teachers throw a chair. I've taught, walked out & wanted to throw a chair. I've coached & actually had to walk out of practice because they wanted to play but didn't want to work in practice. It's extremely frustrating. A teenager should know better.

Judging from your spelling, grammar & syntax, Monta Vista's English department was nowhere as rigorous as my hs's. Nevertheless, kids need homework to reinforce the day's lesson. Otherwise, we're just wasting time on review. Nevertheless, this isn't about the teacher's craziness. This is more so about the students lack of respect. Not every kid is gonna be a math wiz. Not every kid is going to pay total attention. But don't disrupt class & ruin it for your classmates.

@PersonalJesus348 The dumbass is behind your keyboard. Again, let's hear the wisdom that you've gained from child psychology books & your 21yrs on this globe. I'm all ears.
1
@PersonalJesus348 Your channel says you're 21. I doubt you know much of anything let alone the caveats that come with teaching algebra. I don't validate this teacher's behavior. But the notion that people don't lose it when it comes to kids is stupid. He's human. Besides, these ain't children. They'd be charged as adults if they committed crimes. They're biologically developed enough to make babies. They're called: young adults. I'd be pissed too if they won't use reason. So'd you.
1
@PersonalJesus348 "My answer is that youR a dumbass." You can't distinguish between a possessive pronoun "your" & a pronoun-verb contraction that expresses a state of being "you're". You lose.
1
@frictionRx10 Are you really going to present MSNBC as credible evidence? Don't make it so easy for me.
1
@Brezable You can't say "in general" unless you include a wide cross section. Are you gonna tell me 230M White people in this country are upper-middle class & rich? Moron.
1
@PersonalJesus348 I suppose you've never taught school.
1
@Brezable So you think White kids are more respectful? Watch "Waiting for Superman". It's not just a "minority" thing.
1
Granted, the best course of action would be to take a personal moment to relax then send their asses to whatever disciplinary body is in place. But this teacher obviously understands that 1, these kids, no matter how snarkily they behave, have potential & a right to an education. And 2, American students are falling behind & disciplinary action isn't helping them long-term. So what's he to do? Crack another "child psychology" book? Let's hear the wisdom that 21yrs gives you.
1
@PersonalJesus348 Address the original postulate. Have you ever taught school? Do you have kids of your own? Are you in close contact with kids for any prolonged period of time? Or are you just parroting shit like "child psychology" that you read in an introductory level college course?
1
@Brezable That's the lamest logic I've ever heard. So if it's a function of poverty then you have to factor in the variable of White kids in middle America who are also poor. Don't cherry pick.
