Your nose doesn't always bleed when it's broken. I can attest to that 1st-hand. It depends on the angle & magnitude of the trauma. In any case, when they walked him through the police station, Zimmerman didn't to be injured outwardly or even shaken emotionally. Either way, if I bust your nose & you shoot me, you're a murderer.

Actually, there are more versions of the story than your depiction. Nevertheless, escalating violence to the level of mortal force is criminally negligible. You don't bring a gun to a fistfight then cry "self-defense". Zimmerman had no business following or approaching Trayvon.
