  1. That said, you can't argue with the actual data. Marvin Gaye talked about mercury in the fish 40yrs ago. It's not like that's not a concern. The fact that some much fallout came in a nuclear storm & killed cows in California is also well documented. You best believe that we (consumers) can't exactly trust the producers of foodstuffs to look out for us. So it's a good idea to watch how you shop. I prefer farm-raised fish because I think about ecosystems. Let whatever you have be your own reason.

  5. Who said anything about being paranoid? I'm talking about being aware, astute & making informed choices about your diet. YES, you should take caution about what you put into your body. YES, the AMA & AJCN have done studies & rendered the data. I don't know about you but most people want to live as long as they can. So why not go with farm-raised fish? Why not talk to your doctor about healthy eating strategies given the new caveats? Do you want cancer?
