  5. The beatdown was cruel & wanton. The onlookers' reaction was inhumane. It was all quite savage. I know our human ROMs are operating on some extremely primitive software so I try to stay above the fray most of the time. That means avoiding fights. Trying to de-escalate situations. And most of all, tryna use what little bit o' reason I can muster. But I have a problem:  I don't feel myself having a much empathy knowing it was a policeman. Is that unforgivable?
