  2. Here's another part they haven't considered. Thicker thighs imply larger, denser bones; that means efficient RBC production AND decreased risk of injury from falls. In addition, thicker muscle means faster calorie burning too; muscle burns twice as much energy as fat. Good news for us joggers.
