@brian2553 I'm not completely sure that the was IS unnecessary. We're addicted to foreign petroleum & we're not ready to go green. We're accustomed to a degree of comfort that cheaper gas affords. It's not just about the gas we're putting in our own cars, it's about the delivery companies that use gas/diesel fuel to drive produce, bakery, dairy, butchery & groceries from the wholesalers to the supermarket. It's the mineral oil in or skin moisturizers.

@brian2553 Don't get me wrong, the last set of "leaders" lied to us outright. But I'm not completely sure if we were ready to hear the real truth. Yes, 1M people have died in Iraq. 50K of our kids have died in 2 armed efforts. I dare say that the "terrorism" is a reaction to us trying to take control of oil (that we need) which ain't ours.

@brian2553 1) There isn't much difference between democraps & rethuglicans in this country. 2) It was the American voters who put them in power. 3) At the end of the day, the front line battles in the "war on terrorism" aren't being bought by our politicians. Those battles are being fought by your next door neighbors, classmates & friends. 4) This war's collateral damage isn't being absorbed by the guys in Washington, it's being absorbed by you & me by way pump prices (AND retail inflation).
