  1. When I get on a roll, I can rattle off a few nifty word flips. It just bugs the hell out of me that these Beck supporters can't make these distinctions. To me, it's not really a leap of intelligence. MY dear friend Gregg, is a Beck supporter. Unfortunately, Gregg is the archetype, uneducated, paleo-conservative (most of the time). But he's still my friend. Having said that, I'm still gonna make the Beck guys raise their level of reasoning & not just take the KoolAid by the gallons.

  3. Even if you disagree with some; even if you think they're idiotic, it never hurts to afford that person some dignity & treat them as intelligent human beings. It works to not completely turn them off AND it makes them think (even it's only a little bit). Don't get me wrong, I'll get ghetto on a mufucka in a newyork-minute. But I think that person actually needed some help. So I helped by clarifying the critically important things. Feel me?

  5. Damn. But in fairness, let's talk to them like they're just as smart as we are (not to sound pompous). I think talking "down" to them is condescending. I'd rather have them be part of the discussion. I just hate that they're so fucking insane.

  6. He's stated NO facts. Learn to differentiate between anecdotal evidence & fact. Make the distinction between implicit link & conclusive link. While you're at it, learn to discern between correlation & causation. Facts, while they are subjective & relative, require some kind of empirical evidence in the form of data. Data is collected from research. Beck tried to make connections where they don't exist. He uses logical fallacy as a means of implying causation. NOTHING was correct.

  7. Anyone that thinks TYT is anything more than an opinion show is a goof if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, I'm on their side for the most part. But TYT is a bunch of pundits just like anyone else. And you're right there's difference in nuance that might be a little abstract & hard to get your head around if you ain't smart from jumpstreet. However, I won't excuse them nor will I say, "forgive them for not being smart". Equality is holding them to the same standard to which I hold US. Fair?
