  1. @nilbud Dude, it's not illegal there. Are you a true conservative? If so, you can't tell other countries how to govern their people. Free market means there's going to be an unfair advantage sometimes. That's the cost of freedom. But ultimately like most conservatives, it sounds like you only like freedom & competition when it's in your own favor.

  3. @nilbud Nike is committing no crimes. They're exploiting labor in a part of the planet where it's legal to do so; where labor is de-regulated. While I agree (I can't believe I'm saying this) that capitalism has zilch to do with gov't, I disagree with your postulate that Nike is committing a crime. In fact, this is what oyu get when you have a fully free market: Nike. For what it's worth, Mao Tse Tung let 30M people die. That was free marketeering too.

  5. @luvcheney1 You obviously don't know what free market economics are. That's sad. YOU are supposed to be the 1 in support of it. TRADE was unregulated. LABOR had no sanctions. There was no mean-value price setting. There was no market for futures. THAT'S a free market. Please read a book instead of the blogosphere.
