I guess you presume they (legislators) don't get backed in campaigns by those same businesses who benefit from tax codes. Right? Or lemme guess, raised taxes kill businesses in your view but you can't give evidence to support that premise. Republicans are pathetic.

  3. I agree that NAFTA wasn't very helpful. But that didn't mean that every business had to pull stakes & move to compete. And smashing the labor laws will essentially take us back to the days of Upton Sinclair's "Jungle". But I guess the GOP wants that. What's worse is that the knuckleheads who vote for them don't understand that it'll them (the poor & uneducated) who'll end up in the trenches, not the those elitist, overeducated liberals. The "free market" is an illusion.
