Comments by "upabittoolate" (@upabittoolate) on "How Did Rush Limbaugh Lose All That Weight?" video.
Limbaugh's job requires frequent travel but he spends much of his time sitting on his doughy ass. I'd bet he ate almost 3000cal/day. BUT, I bet it took him cutting that in half to lose 90lbs. In my example, much of my weight is muscle BUT I'm not a meso; at 6'5 1/2", I'm an ecto-meso. I don't totally subscribe to somatotype theory but it has some value. We all know that muscle burns more calories than fat. All said, I'd hazard that his pudgy, endomorphic ass ain't eatin' a damned thing.

It's an opinion show. They attack conservatives. Good.

We all know who & what Limbaugh is. Yes, they took potshots at him but so what? TYT never claimed to do anything but keep it real the way they see it. TYT isn't any better than Olbermann, Dobbs, Maddow or Hannity. It's just shits & giggles. Perhaps less sophisticated than their normal stuff but still shits & giggles.

Don't get me wrong, Cenk is an astute critic. Given his understanding of the law (and presumably an understanding of poli-sci) i respect the quality of what he's saying. Most of the time, the conservatives leave themselves open for all types of criticism. I can't stand Limbaugh but that doesn't matter. He's a self proclaimed "fool on the hill". That's still a fool. That means we get to take all tpyes of shots; be they potshots or shots with acumen.

It's good at times. It's coverage of pop culture sometimes. In fairness, they seldom cover the current HRs as well as I'd like to see. It's shits & giggles. They "keep it real" but that's a function of one's own perspective. ie, what's "real" to you isn't always the same for me. On that, all people might agree. Nevertheless, Limbaugh is merely entertainment. So I'd expect comentary on him to be pretty lightweight (insert pun intentions here). It's ALL shits & giggles.

Close but not exactly. For a person who doesn't exercise, a serious reduction of caloric intake is necessary for weight loss (especially a 90lb weigh loss). The body isn't going to going into metastasis. I'm 230lbs but I'm kinda active (daily jogger, pushups/chinups/core routine alternated every other day, TKD 3x/wk. For work my jobs include basketball coach during the school year & rafting guide during the summer). I eat almost 3000cal/day. If I went to 2500cal/day, I'd be 210 in a jiffy.
