  1. don't mistake convenience or comfort for most rational though. yes, there's a higher power. sure, jesus (yeshua) lived. indeed, "intelligent design" is based on a logical fallacy. there are also some fallacies in geological dating methods too. but the notion that the earth is only 6000 yrs old is garbage. and i think anyone with 2 brain cells will agree that bible thumpers are the dumbest people alive

  2. like avagardo's law, newton's law, ohm's law, keppler's law, conservation of matter, joule's law, boyle's law, dalton's law, caoulomb's law, gausse's law, faraday's law, or wein's law? i could go on but you get the gist: math & science aren't independent of 1 another.

  3. i understand what you're saying about space/time. but what i'm trying to help the other guy understand the difference between abstractions (change) & the means by which those abstractions measured (time). sure, it all folds upon itself, but time is an illusion in that it's actually limited by it's "pH" paper. alfred korzibsky says just that in "science & sanity". you especially, would love that piece. get it if you have a chance. regards from denver.   4. math is merely a way of proofing a hypothetical just like you use theorems in real number math. in a sense, math is a form of science in that it uses a set of tools & methodology to examine the world. science does the same thing. it's not just a buck of binaries, algorithims or isolated ideas. it's all related. math is simply a proofing device for most of the natural sciences. ie, time isn't really a phenomena; change is. time is a way of measuring change. feel me?
