@dangerouslytalented That's precisely what I'm saying. I won't ask Tyrone Washington to do boolean algebra on a chalkboard but I guarantee he can do the necessary, split-secong arithmetic that needs to not only win cash as the dice shooter but also taking side bets. I bet Kyle Worthington III ain't winning any dice games.

@SpitfireOFatj Who said anything about "failing" the test? I said the test isn't as valid as people try to imply. EVERY scientist is supposed to challenge the experimental design. Why is this different? IQ tests are not the gospel. In fact, modern psychology's research has pointed not only to different nodes of intelligence but also difference modes of learning AND different conclusions. Therefore, we can't continue to use 50yo rubrics. You know I'm correct. Let it go.

@SpitfireOFatj Dumb people don't use the word "quantify", idiot. And yes, it's quite true that you cannot enumerate something that has mroe qualitative variables & nuances than those you can count with a meter. Stop trolling, fuckwit.

In as much as I am an unapologetic atheist & a left wing radical, I can't just hand over my credibility card to IQs. You can't quantify intellect. I'm a firm purporter of educational value. But I've no problem with people having religion. It's just the Jesus freaks who are the problem. Furthermore, this sociological study can't find a causal link; simply a correlary one. That implied link is a slippery slope fallacy in itself.

@SpitfireOFatj I didn't claim to be an authority. I told you to let it go because you're presenting an invalid argument. You can qualify whatever you like by using "many...". But what you can't do is reasonably defend IQ scores. That's some "Bell Curve" nonsense. So go'head & let it go.

@dioseolo I'm not so sure about that. You can't really quantify intellect. However, it's certainly intuitive to say the the more ucrious person is smarter than the jingoist.
