If he's concerned that Winston is making him look bad as a foreigner then he really should re-examine the fact that MAYBE he might just be in an intolerant, close minded society. And yet he's there...this is not a very intelligent person. Also, Winston married a Chinese girl, so that pretty much flies against those stupid racist allegations.
