  1.  @kaasmeester5903  Not likely. The only reason why those improvements were made was because you had managers from overseas managing production, which meant there were standards in place. The Chinese manage based purely on politics. Their style of management doesn't allow for innovation and criticism because of their crab mentality and corruption.

  2. Korean cars have come a long way. They have vastly improved. And unlike China, they're privately owned so the incentive was there. China doesn't care, it's all about quotas run by state owned enterprises. It's production for the sake of production - waste of time, waste of money. But then again the CCP have no qualms wasting their own people's resources.
