  1. We have rights in the free world. The fact that you are able to voice your opinion in public is a necessity to prevent stupid situations like this from happening. In China, they also don't have class action lawsuits which is yet again another "right" you are afforded in the free world.

  2. They're too apathetic to care at this point. That's what happens when they allow communism to run a country. They replaced their "unreasonable" government with a far worst one - This is what happens when people complain and ultimately don't fix anything.
