"Overseas waste" - befitting definition for waste of time and money when it's all about connections and you can literally be trained ON the job.

Not always. Some of them borrow money from everyone they know.

That's how it's always been. It doesn't make any sense if you even apply math to it. It's all cope for those who have no connections.

@Asara-k7e you definitely would have been less stressed. That's for sure

It's like that everywhere. Some countries are just more obvious about it. That's why they are worst for it: China is one of them.

@ermincampbell2159 It's all about cope. They study overseas because they think it helps their chances of getting a job when in actuality, there are no more jobs left for them to fill. All they did was take themselves out of the job market for 4 or more years, especially if they are pursing a masters or Phd. Expensive coping at its finest. There are no shortage of entry level low paying jobs. The jobs they want are few and far in between. If you do the math, it doesn't make sense for a lot of them to be going to university when most of them will be working low wage labor jobs in reality. This is the brainwashing students are led to believe from universities and a society that thinks everything will be fixed by a useless piece of paper. Most employers don't even care if you went to university. They care about skills, not the fact that you read a lot of useless books.
