  1. This is how they think. It's horde mentality on steroids. Have you ever been in a Chinese mall in North America? The food stalls all sell the same Chinese food just with different names. And a lot of them stay in business because lots of Chinese buy the same kinds of food and don't bother venturing out or trying anything new.

  2. If you look at the things that sell to the Chinese, it's all the same. This is how you can explain why there are so many hotpot places or bubble tea places everywhere. What separates one from the other? They all sell the same thing. Do you see them trying Greek food, Italian food, or Caribbean food? No. They're not open to trying new things and always opt for what's familiar and the same.
