  2. It's fear of missing out of the Chinese market. And the CCP loves to dangle the Chinese market like a carrot on the stick which only gives them more political leverage. If a lot of these companies are smart, they should cut their losses in China and diversify to other countries - their complacency got them to this place to begin with.
