More and more products are being made elsewhere. Sites like Amazon are already putting where the country of origin a product comes from. I take extra steps and research a company before buying since China can just send their things to another country, thereby changing the "country of origin". So far, a lot of the companies are legit multinational companies that are not Chinese.

@RazielDeTam US and EU companies are privately run and even if they can subsidy, it's nowhere near as China.

Yes, they keep their wages so low that no normal Chinese can live of them despite everything skyrocketing in price. This has always been how the Chinese have operated. It's always about manufacturing for cheap with very little profit margin but constantly selling your goods. That's why they don't bother spending on R&D. Number 1, the can't afford it. Number 2, they can just steal it for free. In fact, it's actually one of the rules when you go to China that you have to surrender your IP to the local businesses. This is a given on top of the overt theft of IP that they do in "secret".
