That's why Temu is in business. People don't know how to be content with what they have. And instead of paying extra for more valuable, quality items, they instead opt for cheap garbage that won't last a year. So in essence, people aren't saving. But psychologically, they think they are.

90% of items in a given economy are fruitless. You just need a roof over your head, food to eat, and clothes to wear. Everything else is extra, that's why we are seeing industries slowly collapse that are non essential.

The things they have to do to survive...And this is why they will never be known other than the land of fakes and facades.

Well, most people don't have an expert opinion of what to look for or how to authentically verify if it is indeed an artifact. And most people who aren't informed of this seedy industry in China don't know any better.

They can't keep churning out 3000 year old artifacts because there's not an unlimited supply of those things. So obviously majority of what's out there is fake. If you want real artifacts, you probably have to bid for those. And even then, I would still question the authenticity of those up for auction due to China's rampant creation of fakes in the market.
