  1. There's nothing to understand. It's just an empty money grab. Chinese logic: New phones are expensive. Let's make ours expensive so people think it has more to offer when it actually doesn't. Real world logic: People buy the phone and realize that it falls short. So people stop buying any Huawei phones in the future.
