  2. Just make your own. It's not that hard and you know what goes into the food. Hot pot is basic as hell.

  3.  @Oniontrololol  All people really have to do is invest in a frozen meat cutter. There are decently priced ones online. And they just have to buy the ingredients which are cheaper from the grocery. It's seriously a waste of money when quality isn't even guaranteed anymore. I only eat hotpot at home and am more than happy to make it for my family and everything is fresh.

  4.  @freeman10000  Yeah, Chinese food isn't even that hard. All their dishes literally have soy sauce in everything, maybe oyster sauce and Hoisin sauce. There's not a lot to it.

  8.  @limsk9839  Last I checked China was a country so when I said "Chinese food" I was talking about China as a whole. I didn't lump the west (which is made up of different countries) into 1 homogenous style of cooking like you did. And no, most outsiders don't know the regional differences in China just like you don't know the difference between northern French and Southern French cooking. That's why we call it "Chinese food" to pay homage to the country it's from - but for you it's clearly not enough. Because you're all butt hurt because I said Chinese dishes use soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce. Get over yourself they do!
