@michaelpettersson4919 Taiwanese distinguish themselves by calling themselves "Taiwanese" same with Chinese from Singapore are "Singaporean" or "Singaporean Chinese". "Chinese" usually just means mainland Chinese, that's why they don't use it.

@nicholasrockall7308 Yup. Anything with the descriptive word of "Chinese" doesn't warrant a second look as it is usually inferior.
