@SuperDeluxe80 First of all, China doesn't have 1.5 billion. That number is closer to 800 million according to some analysts that have ran the numbers of China's actual population. Second, Chinese workers were hired due to the efforts of multiple multinational corporations when China opened up under Deng Xiaoping. It's overseas corporations that keep Chinese workers employed. Even their state owned enterprises cannot absorb all of their country's unemployed. What destroyed China was bad policies under the CCP. Everyone goes to China for greed. China doesn't make anything that can't be made in other countries. It's because labor costs were low and lax regulations that they were allowed to grow to what they are now.
