  1. The amount of quality and detail that goes into creating chips does not match China's current capability and attention to detail. On the contrary, China produces low quality items with little to no foresight. They will always rely on others to produce quality chips.

  2.  @Sinyao  When people have no money they have no money, doesn't matter if supply is cheap. Lots of Chinese have to pay a mortgage for their house that will never be built while simultaneously renting to keep afloat and a lot of them are losing their jobs.
