@awjames1121 Laughing to the bank? A lot of Chinese with loads of cash doesn't go to the bank. Government officials smuggle their money in and they literally pay in bags of cash because they don't want other governments to find out about it. Also, governments like Canada are putting a curb to speculative foreign investments that are inflating housing prices, I'm pretty sure the US is going to do the same thing if it hasn't already.

When they lie more than 90% of the time, what's there to verify?

There is an agreement. Ask China to put it to the test and see what happens instead of running their cheap mouths.

China literally expresses outrage when one of their apps are shut down but US companies can't even get so much as one app in the Chinese market. That's not fair and Chi a knows this.

And yet you have Chinese state media constantly posting on youtube trying to subvert western audiences. Once again, it's one sided in favor of the Chinese narrative.

Who is going to implement robots? Do you mean multinational companies? To automate is very expensive and it's not as simple as just setting up automatons, you have to constantly program them and modify their programming to suit whatever you are producing. You now need tech specialists to constantly maintain and look after them and who right now has the monopoly over high-quality chips? It's the US, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. So China is screwed on that front too. And them agitating and pissing everyone off isn't going to help their cause.

You're in your 50's? Because your approach sounds ridiculously childish. Why don't you do some research on Chinese laws so you know where people stand on this issue.

@armondeushon7892 Like as if Communism is much better? Stop trying to convince the world otherwise. People can see for themselves, otherwise the Chinese themselves wouldn't leave their crappy country.

I talked to people from China. None of them are optimistic. Nobody is saying anything about a collapse. But things are looking dire. It's a slow unravelling. It's not a car going 100km hitting a wall. Public protests are up but you will never hear about them in the West.

Some countries are faring better than China.

@eget4144 Are you talking about the same USA that Chinese government officials run to with their ill gotten wealth? That USA? What a joke!

"The Chinese seldom lie with consistency, and never with ingenuity. Their production aims at quantity, not quality. Current American fiction ideas about the sinister cunning of the Chinese with their matchlessly clever deception is laughable after a slight amount of first-hand experience. They could rarely fool a bright ten-year-old after he had been in the country long enough to get the hang of their style. " - "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China)

A lot of people don't believe in that 5.4% growth put out by China's lying government. The fact that you are even using that as a reference is laughable.

The Middle class in China isn't faring any better. They aren't having kids, and work long tedious hours. Ever heard of the 996 culture? They work from 9am to 9pm 6 days a week trying to make ends meet with no overtime pay. In fact, a lot of people are on call so forget having a life on the weekends. They also aren't the best when it comes to health care considering the brunt of expense is being answered by the people. You are still leaps and bounds ahead of a typical Chinese person struggling to make ends meet in China. Considering all the crackdowns across all sectors in the country, China isn't the place you want to be in right now.

They're a faceless country. Can't be redeemed.

It's because its all a lie lol.
