Chinese don't honor contracts. But with that being said, yes, nobody held a gun to their head. Italy should have weighed the consequences and figured out if it was a good deal for them. Greed gets the better of people especially when you're fed the propaganda that you can get rich tapping a market of 1.4 billion people. The truth is, a lot of multinational companies have struggled to make it in China, since people there don't earn nearly as much as people in the West.

If actions are worthy? So how the hell does China decide if actions are "worthy"? If it's in their best interest? The word you're looking for here is "self interest" not "worthiness". They're not arbiters of truth and divinity to decide.
