  1. Chinese don't honor contracts. But with that being said, yes, nobody held a gun to their head. Italy should have weighed the consequences and figured out if it was a good deal for them. Greed gets the better of people especially when you're fed the propaganda that you can get rich tapping a market of 1.4 billion people. The truth is, a lot of multinational companies have struggled to make it in China, since people there don't earn nearly as much as people in the West.
