  2.  @SpaceOddity4214  At some point you just have to accept that they didn't evolve with the times. And they view the world like they do their own people: stupid and lacking in critical thinking. This is how the Chinese have always ran their country. They kept the population stupid and easy to manipulate: emperors did this, local government officials did this, now the communist party does this and prior to this the KMT. Having an uneducated, illiterate populace is easier to manage than a population who asks questions and is educated.
