  1. I've been standing guard for 40 plus years. Ever since the first of my sisters children were born. Sisters taught me how to watch every move the kids made. Then i had my own, and i could hear them breathing in the next room. Hyper vigilant is putting it mildly. My kids thought they were out of my sight, but NOT EVER were they. And if i got out of my car to pay for a few dollars gas, guess what? EVERYONE is getting out. I have had 2 newborns on my shoulders, and a 3 year old by the hand. Inconvenient, you bet. But knowing they are SAFE is worth it. You do not mistakenly leave a CHILD in a car. That is no mistake. That is the biggest load of BS ever. That is a PURPOSEFUL ACT . And no one will ever convince me otherwise .
