@HFApizzamaker We sign up TO HELP PEOPLE. We don't ever expect this. I've been on scene and had a shotgun held to my head while I performed CPR on a patient that was absolutely DEAD. She was blown in half by her Dad, by the very shotgun he held to my head, while demanding I save her. Firefighters/first responders have a "stand down" in place now. Police must secure the scene BEFORE we enter now. That happened over 20 years ago, and I can still feel every emotion I felt in those minutes. A state trooper heard my Chief "go 800" and he got the guy by surprise. I fell back and he pushed him the other way. We almost have to read each other's minds.
