  1. I personally know a Syrian man who has lived most of his life in Ukraine. In 2013, he pretended to be a victim of the Syrian war to seek refuge in Sweden. Because of this lie, the authorities gave him a free three-bedroom apartment in Västervik. This seems both dishonest and opportunistic.

  2. Since there are a lot of likes here, I can give more details: upon his arrival in Syria, the authorities put him in a dormitory, fed him and paid money every month. With this money after 9 months he bought a gray used Skoda wagon. The authorities later called him and asked what color wall he preferred. When he first came to new apartment, his name was already written on the mailbox. Guy's name is Hassan Makhmoud. He still lives in Västervik.
