@cspace1234nz why would the Ukranian pilots want to 'use themselves up' with the plane? They seem to lob rockets at the moment to stay at a distance - presumably that won't be possible in an A-10.

@cspace1234nz I know you didn't mean that and I was making the point that it is not a survivable aircraft, it's expensive to operate and they'd probably be much much better off spending their time and energy on learning and maintining one type of aircraft that fills the main roles.
