@alexroberts6416 oh come on. There are loads of lower class people with newly obtained money trying to buy class by sending their kids to a fancy school. Social climbers are far worse snobs because they're deeply into the effort of "reaching the top". New money is always scorned and eventually accepted. The classic story is the newly rich industrialist marrying his daughter off to some layabout son of an aristocrat facing hard times. Most recently the invasion of super rich Russians - buying class by sending their kids to British schools.
