I feel that the schools, at least in my area, fail to teach kinds the essentials of how to succeed in life after school. They focus WAY too much on CORE curriculum that basically is useless after high school. They are teaching calculus in 9th grade now, to which many kids are struggling with. Spelling words, directed reading, geography, humanities, business and economic skills, and job trades, such as carpentry, auto mechanics, metal shop, home economics, bio ag and plant science are no longer offered in school(s). Many of ourr kids are being set up for failure. It's disgraceful and disheartening.

I agree. These finance gurus always make it seem so easy. I liken it to Michelangelo saying, "Any body can paint the Sistine Chapel like me, all you have to do is pick up a paint brush and dip it in some paint." Ahhh, yeah, it's not that easy. You have to have talent, a knack, resources, drive and determination, opportunity, and money, sponsorship, and or someone willing to invest in your endeavors. Elon Musk's Tesla wouldn't have come to fruition if it wasn't for Toyota investing in his dream. Look where Elon is now. He's the wealthiest man on Earth.
