  1. I absolutely agree. That's the way it SHOULD be. Unfortunately, many Congressmen and Congresswomen (mainly Republican) are corrupt, influenced financially by big corporation lobbyists' payola, greed, and power, and like you were suggesting, don't work for the people but their own narcissistic well-being- be it power, status/title, wealth, or all of the above.
