As a Centrist Democrat, I'm disappointed with the Democratic senators in the House. Surely, they have to be aware that neither our economy, resources, housing, nor our Social Services can accommodate or support an extra 5,000 individuals a day crossing our border to seek refuge. Heck! We can't even address and take care of our own homeless and veterans. Shouldn't we focus on them first before worrying about immigrants from another country? It seems logical to me.

As a Centrist Democrat, I agree with you on the border. I've been preaching that for 35 years. It's something that is so fricken dumbfoundingly obvious, that one has to wonder in bewilderment, what the heck are the Democrats thinking? It's utterly unrealistic to believe that our country has the resources, infrastructure, and tax dollars to provide for this invasion of illegal immigrants. It's just not feasibly or financially possible or logical. Immigrants should go through the legal process of filing for asylum to live here in America. I don't believe th forcing asylum seekers to join our military - it should be of free will. However, I do believe asylum seekers should have background checks upon seeking entry into America. Many "legal" immigrants can and should be placed in educational and civil service work programs to help them get on their feet and become productive, tax paying members of society.
