  2. Because many legislators in Congress need to appease their Evangelical Christian constituents in order to keep their jobs. I guarantee that if the Ukrainian people were predominantly Christian, Catholic, and or Judaism we would see overwhelming support and funding for Ukraine. It's all politics.

  3. ​ @amberandrews6842 Yes. You are correct. In situations and circumstances like what's happening in Gaza now. Congressional legislators must appease their Evangelical Christian supporters/constituents or risk being voted out of office and replaced come next election cycle, and since Congress holds the "power of the purse" there is little the president can do.

Even though, the Constitution wasn't drafted by the framers of the Constitution (John Jay, Alexander Hamilton, and James Madison) until 1789, they would be, and probably are, turning over in their graves today at many of the incompetent, childish, idiots we have in Congress that are supposed to represent the people of America. I guess that says a great deal about many of the people in America. 😔
