  3. Yes, that is what the commentator was saying. He was stating the obvious, though. We know Putin will use this conundrum to his advantage, unless we take a stand now.! In the infamous words of Rik Emmett of the Canadian band, Triumph; "We need to fight the good fight, every moment of every day."

  4. Let's put things into perspective, shall we? 444 days. That's how long 60 people were held hostage by the Ayatollah Khomeini and the Iranian government in 1979/1980/1981. I was merely a teenager then, but those 444 days seemed like a lifetime - at least, long enough. The invasion and subsequent annihilation of Ukraine by Russia has been going on for approximately 890 days, twice as long as the Iran Hostage Affair. I tend to believe, that under the dire circumstances faced by Volodymyr Zelensky in his honorable attempt to preserve his country against all odds from the Russians, that his patience, along with his frustration, are quite reasonable and understandable. Try showing some compassion and empathy, please.

  5. This is absird! Why are we pussyfooting around? N.A.T.O. needs to allow Ukraine into the alliance, and N.A.T.O. needs to set an ultimatum with Russia. Inform Putin he has until the end of the month to get all of his military out of Ukraine, and any further attack on Ukraine is an act of war. We need to stand up to this bully, this punk. He is a sorry excuse of a little man with an inferiority complex. United, we stand in peace, not in fear. By setting this precedent it puts the ball in Putin's court. He can save face now by backing out now.
