  1. Forgiveness, like compassion, compromise, love, respect, and acceptance is a virtue. Virtues define a person and a culture. If you take into account that all of the countries involved in WWII have grown to not only forgive one another but to also support and work together with one another, you will not only find that it is possible to forgive and coexist, but also that peace is possible through communication, compassion, compromise, and respect. I do believe it is an actual step in human evolutionary development. We just need both the Arab and African nations to catch up.

  2. This should come as no surprise, considering the fighting between both nations (tribes) have been happening since biblical times.
