@gregsmith1342 It's been shrinking for quite some time. About every decade or so it gets just a little bit smaller, and only the observant, like you and I notice. In 1978 the Whopper came in a 4"×4" styrofoam container. Remember those? The beef patty at 3.5 inches would span the width of a 2"×4" board. How big is the patty now? Probably 2.75 inches, would be my guess. Carl's Jr. burgers have shrunk as well. Snicker, Three Musketeers, and Milky Way bars have also shrunk. Remember when ice cream containers were 1/2 gallon? Now they are 1.75 or 1.5 quarts and cost almost three times as much as they did in the early 80's.
