  4. The news media keeps talking about Pennsylvania being a swing state of importance for Democrats in this race, especially with their 300,000 Puerto Rican residents. Well, let us not forget that Florida is also a swing state with nearly 1.2 million Puerto Rican residents. Texas, arguably another swing state has a Puerto Rican population of just over 239,000. Illinois has just over 207,000 Puerto Ricans. Ohio has nearly 130,000 Puerto Rican residents. And North Carolina has 110,028 Puerto Ricans.
