  1. The border along northern California and southern Oregon is a friendly border, with many people that share the same ideologies. So much so, that many of the people have conceptualized a creation of the state of Jefferson. These folks, myself included tend to have a more centrist mindset, whether it be slightly to the left or slightly to the right. We believe in a right to bear arms (not semi or full auto magic weapons of war), less governmental overreach, more of a state for the people and of the people, where WE vote for change that affects us on a large scale, such as abortion rights, illegal immigration, taxes, etc. Ultimately, I don't want to see California socially, politically, and topographically altered. I'd much rather both our states get off the left shoulder of the road and stay centered in it's lane.
