  1. You start loosing perspective, i fear. There’s a reason for the need for EVs and that reason is global warming. I’m pretty sure if avg temperature goes up 4°C the demand for EVs will drop, as will the demand for every other new car, whatever technology is inside. Because the price of basically staying alive will go up. Green energy production and consumption must go up, because fossil fuel consumption must go down. That’s the bottom line. Hybrids are just as much a transition technology as is hydrogen technology for at least the next decade (evennsmall nuclear will be just too late): it will only buy Big Oil a few more years of profit.
