First I thought legacy car brand were just a bit stupid and misjudged the situation. Now I’m convinced they’re just evil. For convincing their western consumers EVs are not what they want. And for convincing western legislators for putting extra tariffs on Chinese renewable solutions. They were not even going to try switching to electric, they decided it was cheaper (for them) to lobby for business as usual.
