  1. 8:10 for the interesting part. I don't see why combining a 90 degree rotation with a horizontal mirror results in a 45 degree mirror though, nor how the operations relate to the symbols. It looks like a group is a set of ways something can do a full rotation (sides times faces), written like a magic formula that doesn't seem worth learning to read and write.
